We had a great first 🥇1️⃣ day of Gan Izzy💕💕💕! We started the day off with lineup, davening📖, and an important lesson on Brachot (thanking G-d for the food🥭🍋🍌 and other blessings He gives us).
The campers then got the opportunity to decorate✏️✏️ their bunk rooms! They look awesome 😎!!
The girls expressed their creativity through beautiful fruit🍇 sculptures, while the boys played a grand game 🏉🏉 of football with Rabbi Landa ✡️✡️!
The kids had a blast swimming🏊 in the pool and sliding down the incredible waterslide🛝! We ended the day with delicious popsicles!

Some very creative🎨 twinning was going on on DAY 3️⃣ of Camp Gan Izzy!!
We began the twin day with line up, a surprise twin relay race competition🥚🎈🏃♀️, followed by davening and a lesson about Mezuzot🚪. We spoke about the protection💂♀️ that a Mezuzah provides since inscribed inside the Mezuzah is a holy scroll 📜 with Hashem/Gd's powerful 📛 name and the prayer of Shema.
We had an incredible drumming session 🥁🪘with our amazing instructor Phil! He helped us use fun and colorful 🌈 boomwhackers to make beautiful music, and then we played with larger drums 🥁, making our own rhythms along the way. We all had a blast ❤️.

Wow what another amazing day of camp! We started off with an epic circle-up, then headed to our bunk room to daven 📖. Today we learned all about Shabbat, and how Hashem created the world 🌎 for six 6️⃣ days then rested 🛏 on the 7th and so we rest now.
We then decorated cookies 🍪 to take with us to adventure playground 🛝 ! When we got to adventure playground each kid found what they had most fun doing, some kids painting 🖼, some hammering 🔨, and some zip-lining!
We headed back to Chabad and finished another smashing day!

Week 2 😍😍 was off to an incredible start!!!
We started off with line up, davening✡️ and an inspiring story📖 by Rabbi Landa talking about the importance of staying focused on your mission in this world 🌍, while the younger bunk enjoyed a captivating nature hunt 🍁🍀!
The boys played a game of football 🏈 with the Rabbi, showing lots of Ahavat Yisroel (love ❤️for a fellow jew✡️), which led into an extraordinary carnival 🎡run by our amazing 🤩 staff! With games like coke vs pepsi 🥤, ping pong cups🏓, and SPLASH THE RABBI 💦✡️the campers had a blast!!!
We concluded the day with a very fun car 🚗 wash and swimming 🥽.

We started off with line up, davening✡️, and an awesome lesson on the Beit Hamikdash🕍 (holy temple) and all the rooms within it by the RABBI🕎! Additionally, the campers learned that today is a sad 😭 day in Jewish history. Today is the day where the walls 🧱 of Jerusalem were destroyed💔 by the Babylonians, which led directly to the destruction of the Beit Hamikdash.
We then had an incredible animal🐒 show!! There were monkeys🐒, lizards🦎, snakes🐍, baboons🦧, and EVEN A CROCODILE 🐊!!! The campers had an absolute blast getting to learn and hold the many different animals (we were especially excited when Rabbi Landa held the crocodile too).

After we made special sushi🍣, not the regular type but with candy 🍬! It was very yummy for all of us.
We had an incredible birthday 🎂 party for Julian during lunch! We all enjoyed delicious cupcakes🧁. Happy Birthday Julian!!
