Dear Friend, 

Ever since we moved to Marin County nearly 9 years ago to establish Chabad Jewish Center of Novato, Adina and I dreamed of this day; the day we would be fortunate enough to compose this email. 

The expansion and growth of our dynamic and warm community during this past almost decade has been incredible.

From the children in school and in summer camp, to the attendees at our community-wide cultural programs to the holiday events, we have arrived at our next level of growth. 

The time has arrived for us to finally find a property whereon we can not only house our existing activities, but broaden our reach and continue to expand in the years to come. 

And so, it is with almost a decade’s worth of overflowing emotion and with immense gratitude to G-d Almighty for His kindness and bountiful blessings that we excitedly inform you: 

We have opened escrow to purchase a property that will serve as the permanent home for the Chabad Jewish Center of Novato located right near the heart of downtown Novato, at 695 De Long Avenue.

 This will undoubtedly change the Jewish landscape in our community for generations to come.

 We envision this property (with an existing 11200 sq. ft. building) to enable us to fulfill the vision of our mentor, the Lubavitcher Rebbe - to reach each and every Jew and touch his or her heart and mind with the warmth and joy of Judaism.

  THE LAUNCH OF THE CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

 We have reached this milestone and built this together as a community. Now it’s up to each and every one of us to come together and make this a center we will all be proud of.

 During the next two weeks we will personally reach out to you to see in what capacity you are able to step up and make this dream a reality.

 We encourage and urge you to generously become an active partner in this center. Together we can and will build a glorious and proud Jewish future for ourselves, for our children and grandchildren, and for the Jewish People.

 In closing, Adina and I would like to express our profoundest gratitude to all those special individuals who have helped us reach this historic moment. We cannot tell you how much we appreciate - both personally and on behalf of the entire community - the hours and energy you devoted, your indispensable business advice and legal counsel, and your financial generosity.

 We look forward to celebrating every milestone on this journey together with you – the closing of escrow, the renovation and building phase, and, with G-ds help, the grand opening celebration.

 Together, as one community, we will make this dream a reality!
