We're excited to introduce our newest program, Cteen Junior. Cteen Junior is a geared for pre-teens and teens in 6th-8th grade.
At Chabad Hebrew School, we view Bar/Bat Mitzvah as a means to an end, not an end in itself. When a child turns Bar or Bat Mitzvah, it is the beginning of a lifetime journey into Judaism. We have therefore created a very unique program called Cteen Jr., geared especially for our B’nai Mitzvah, our goal being to foster awareness that this milestone is only the beginning of Jewish life, not the end, and to help our students attain a greater appreciation of their responsibilities as a Jewish adult.
Cteen Junior offers leadership training, fascinating guest speakers, social action opportunities, meaningful trips, thought provoking and relevant discussions, and much more.
Cteen Jr. takes place weekly on Sunday mornings during the same hours as Chabad Hebrew School, 10 am-12pm (for the parents' convenience) and will be held in the Shul side of the building.
