JEWISH KIDS CLUB
"WHERE BEING JEWISH IS FUN"

THE GOAL: There is so much we want to teach our kids about Judaism: knowledge of the Torah, understanding of the mitzvot, familiarity with the holidays and traditions, learning Hebrew, etc. But at Jewish Kids Club we believe that our most important job is to get kids excited about Judaism and to passionately love their heritage and community.

If we can do that, we believe they have a much better chance of connecting to their roots and Hashem throughout their lives. We also know that kids will learn and retain information that they are drawn to or curious about. So rather than create a curriculum to educate and then add a component of fun as an afterthought, we first create a curriculum of fun and then we organically weave in the education.

The Curriculum: Within the context of arts, crafts, games, and connection, children will be taught the fundamentals of Judaism including Torah, mitzvot, traditions, celebrations, and culture. In addition, 20 minutes of each session will focus on learning Hebrew starting with the aleph bet and growing into reading skills. We use the acclaimed Aleph Champ program which was designed to teach, motivate, and inspire multiple levels of proficiency within the same room.
